Bio:  Casey County School District is comprised of three K-6 elementary schools, one grade 7-8 middle school and one 9-12 high school which is also served by a KCCTS area technology center - all in rural settings.  We enjoy a strong sense of community, stress the importance of quality education and nurture an invaluable partnership between family and school .   We welcome you to visit and encourage you to volunteer in this partnership.   For specific data defining our district and individual schools there is an Online Report Card  or for the full Adobe PDF version visit the Kentucky Department of Education School Report Card Archive.

The Kentucky Unbridled Careers initiative brings together education and inndustry to help students and job seekers achieve their goals and address communities' workforce development needs.  Unbridled Careers is fully integrated with the Kentucky Individual Learning Plaln (ILP) and provides powerful tools for students and job seekers and adult career searchers, community businesses, educators and local system administrators.  More information is available in the "Downloads" 'Unbridled Learning Accountability Model' section at the left of this page and you can visit the Unbridled Careers website by clicking on the Kentucky Unbridled Careers graphic.

The 'Comprehensive Improvement Plan' details how the Casey County School District and all Casey County Schools ensure that students reach proficiency and are career ready.  To develop a CIP, various data are used to identify student learning needs, a plan of action is developed to meet those needs, funds are identified to support those actions, timelines are established, and responsibility is assigned to see that action plans are completed.  These and other documents are available in the "Downloads" section of this page.

Dear Families,

We would like you to know that the draft of our Comprehensive District Improvement Plan is now available at the Board of Education. Please feel free to stop by and look over the plan. We value your input and feedback!

Thanks!
